Jojoba Oil contains vitamins A,B, D and E and is rich in antioxidants and high in anti-inflammatory properties . It penetrates the skin rapidly and restores the skin's natural PH. It moisturises, softens and reduces the appearance of fine lines and scarring. It is known to be highly penetrative and able to help enhance the skin's natural suppleness and elasticity.

Mango Seed Butter

Mangifera Indica

Mango Seed Butter has known conditioning, moisturising and skin softening properties as well as being praised for its skin rejuvenating benefits. Mango Butter’s oil free creaminess is known to protect and effectively nourish and condition the skin, helping to improve its lustre and suppleness.

Organic Cacao Seed Butter

Theobroma Cacao

Cocoa Seed Butter is a fat, cold pressed from the cocoa seed. Its buttery consistency acts as a protective barrier to the skin, preserving moisture balance. It is especially suited for dry and sensitive skin. It is high in vitamin E and vitamin K, choline, magnesium, copper, and iron. Contributing to a glowing complexion, and healthy collagen and elastin levels for supple, bouncy skin.

Organic Shea Butter

Shea Butter is extracted from the nut of the fruit of the Shea tree. It is widely recognised as a rich, skin-softening moisturiser and emollient, as well as for its soothing nourishing and protective properties. It contains vitamins A and E which help ageing skin look younger and smoother.

Organic Argan Oil

Argania Spinosa

Argan Oil hails from Morocco and is one of the rarest oils in the world. It's high content of vitamin C and squalene aid your skin by protecting it from the sun. It helps to rebalance the skin and combat ageing cell degeneration. This multipurpose oil is good for the skin as well as hair and nails.

Organic Castor Seed Oil

Cold pressed oil derived from the castor bean is used in cosmetics as an emollient, though its unique property is that when dry it forms a solid film that can have water-binding properties. It is deeply nourishing and hydrating and therefore beneficial for ageing skin. It also offers a glossy shine and rich texture ideal for natural lipstick and glosses.

Sweet Almond Oil

Prunus Amagdalus Dulcis

Sweet Almond Oil contains many nutrients that are good for the skin, including vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and E, minerals, fatty acids Omegas 6 & 9 , and antioxidants. Using almond oil may help soothe and hydrate your skin and hair. Some people also use almond oil to reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and wrinkles, and to treat mild skin conditions including dry skin.

Vegetable Glycerin

Glycerin is a naturally occurring molecule which increases water retention within the skin, keeping it moist and supple. This effective skincare ingredient works as a magnet to pull moisture out of both the air and the deeper layers of skin, to deliver it to the outermost layer of skin for optimal hydration. 100% palm free, derived from soy and rapeseed.

Purified Water

Aqua

Only Water that is free of toxins, pollutants and microbes is used in the formulation of our cosmetics and skincare products to ensure that it is safe to use on the skin. Water used for this purpose is also referred to as distilled water, purified water and aqua.

Organic Glycine Soja Oil

Virgin soybean oil that is certified organic is very valuable. It has strong regenerative properties, helps to regulate cornification and is ideal for both oily and dry skin. This oil is very rich and moisturising, but absorbs quickly into the skin. Due to its cell-activating effect and isoflavones, soy oil is ideal for the care of mature skin.

Sunflower Seed Oil

Sunflower oil contains high levels of linoleic acid allowing it to help replenish, strengthen, and soothe skin. It is particularly beneficial for dry, dehydrated, or environmentally compromised skin, visibly repairing its barrier and leading to smoother, healthier-looking skin. It is naturally calming as well as helpful for reducing signs of skin stress or irritation.

Caprylic Triglyceride

Caprylic/capric triglyceride is derived from coconut oil and glycerine and is considered an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient. The variety of fatty acids that it contains replenish the skin’s surface and help it resist moisture loss. It is a well known ingredient for its gentle moisturising properties and replenishment of the skin.

Candelilla Wax

Candelilla Wax is a plant wax that is found as a coating on a shrub which grows wild in Mexico and Texas. It is reputed to help prevent the skin from losing moisture, reduce the appearance of stretch marks as well as the signs of aging. Candelilla Wax is known to be an effective binding agent that easily fuses ingredients.

Organic Carnauba Wax

Carnauba Wax comes from the leaves of the Brazilian carnauba tree. It is a hypoallergenic emollient, and helps to thicken skin care formulations. It is a vegan-friendly alternative to Beeswax. When used in cosmetics, Carnauba wax gives the product a smooth application as well as a glossy and shiny finish.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil

Hydrogenated castor oil is a thickened, creamy form of castor oil. It has long been used as an antimicrobial and deeply moisturising ingredient for various skincare formulations. The hydrogenation process changes the chemical composition, allowing castor oil to perform as a wax rather than an oil. It is ideal for lip glosses, offering a glossy finish as well as hydration and softening.

Jojoba Esters

Jojoba esters are produced by hydrogenating jojoba oil. Due to its remarkable similarity to natural oils produced by skin, jojoba esters are commonly used in cosmetic formulations as an emollient as well as for its moisturising and softening properties.

Witch Hazel

We use witch hazel powder in our products, dissolved into purified water. This ingredient is known to condition, tone and soothe skin. It offers refreshing and cooling properties to help calm irritation. Witch Hazel is known to effectively cleanse the skin without causing it to dry out, and to naturally brighten and aid in reducing puffiness around the eyes.

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3

Also known as vitamin B3 or vitamin PP has been naturally derived from nicotinic acid, found in brewer's yeast. It is a multi-correctional powerhouse that addresses a wide range of skincare concerns, from uneven skin tone, dull complexion or loss of elasticity. It helps to support a healthy skin barrier, reduce moisture loss and skin dehydration. It may also help calm your skin.

Aloe Vera has been used by many cultures around the world for thousands of years to treat and cure a variety of skin conditions. The juice heals the skin and reduces redness and itching. D-Alpha -Tocopherol

Natural Vitamin E

D-alpha-tocopherol is the most effective form of vitamin E. It is derived from plant sources including rice bran, or flax. Vitamin E is a naturally occurring component of healthy skin, and its second most prevalent antioxidant behind vitamin C. It offers significant antioxidant properties to help defend from pollution and other environmental stressors.

Vegan Lactic Acid

Our lactic acid is derived from vegetables and legumes. It helps to gently exfoliate the skin by removing old cells on the skin's surface by dissolving the bonds that hold them together, encouraging faster cell turnover, resulting in a brighter complexion as well as smoother and softer skin.

Allantoin

An extract originally from the comfrey plant, which is native to Asia and Europe. It can also be lab-created and both are effective when used in advanced skincare. It offers gentle anti-aging properties and suitable for most skin types, as well as offering moisture, rejuvenation, smoothing, healing, deep hydration and improvement in skin dullness.

Vegetable Squalane

Vegetable squalane is a clear fluid produced from sugarcane that offers great skin benefits. Squalane is actually a lipid naturally produced by humans and one of the main components of sebum and the hydrolipidic film. By using it topically on the skin, its benefits include moisturising and restoring the lipid barrier and protecting from dehydration.

Natural Clay

Kaolin Clay is a fine and soft, soothing clay suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. It helps absorb excess oil to extend make-up wear. Kaolin is rich in minerals and known for its purifying, absorbency and soothing properties. Its use within our natural cosmetic powders improves the make-up's adherence to the skin, extending wear and regulating oil and shine.

Zinc Oxide

Zinc oxide is a mineral-derived sunscreen ingredient ideal for both daily and intense sun exposure because of its ability to provide broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. It also provides all-around skin protection, slows the skin's ageing process, prevents skin dryness and offers wound healing capabilities.

Mica

Our mica, importantly, is ethically and sustainably sourced, as with all our ingredients. Mica is a silicate mineral whose crystals easily flake into whisper thin layers providing a shimmer effect, reflecting light away from the skin, creating the appearance of smooth, radiant skin. It can come in different colours and range from translucent to opaque.

Iron Oxides

ContentIron oxides are mineral-derived compounds comprised of iron and oxygen. They are most often used to add pigment to cosmetics and skincare, but they also have the added benefit of protecting the skin from visible and blue light. The natural iron oxides that we use come in red, yellow, and black shades, which are then blended to create the variety of earthy pigments that we are known for.

Lazurite Ultramire Blue

Ultramarine Blue Lazurite CI 77007 is a mineral-derived pigment composed of sodium, aluminum, silicate and sulfate; that can range in shade from blue, which is the most common, to violet, pink or even green. It is used to impart natural colour paticularly when blending foundation, lipstick or eyeshadow pigments.

Tin Oxide Cassiterite

Tin oxide is a mineral-derived compound comprised of tin and oxygen. It typically functions as an opacifying agent in cosmetic products and is commonly used in combination with mica and titanium dioxide, which is what we do to create our products and pigments.

Non-Nano Titanium Dioxide

This mineral offers pigment and natural sun protection against both UVA and UVB rays without penetrating the skin. It is gentle enough even for sensitive and redness-prone skin and is safe and effective for use in cosmetic products, particularly when not used as nano-sized particles. It is a great broad-spectrum SPF ingredient widely used in all manner of sun-protection products.

Silica

Silica is a mineral found abundantly in sandstone, clay, and granite amongst other sources. It offers distribution of pigments and prevents them from settling in makeup, ensuring a smooth and even application. It offers an improvement in titanium dioxide's protective ability as a mineral sunscreen for improved UVA and UVB ray protection.

Magnesium Aluminium Silicate

Magnesium aluminium silicate is a naturally occurring clay that is safe and gentle on the skin. It is used by formulators as an absorbent, an emulsion stabiliser or even to help thicken products for better texture. It is known to be non- irritating unless you have a specific allergy to this ingredient.

Lavender oil's antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help reduce acne and soothe the skin, diminishing the effects of redness while evening skin tone and promoting wound healing. The aroma offers a calming effect for both mind and body.

Rosemary Leaf Extract

Rosemary extract is a powerful skin rejuvenation ingredient. Owing to its potent anti-inflammatory properties, rosemary extract can help to reduce swelling and puffiness. In addition, this herb is known to contain powerful medicinal qualities that help to heal burns, soothe the skin, and ease chronic skin conditions including eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis.

Lemon peel extract cleanses the skin, helping control oil production and unclogging pores. Lemon Extract will also give your skin a dose of Vitamin C to help improve skin tone and provide antioxidant properties to help reduce oxidative stress. Lemon peel is a great skin enhancer giving you glowing and soft skin, removing dead skin and stimulating new skin growth.

Goldenseal Root Extract

Sourced from the root of Goldenseal and utilised for its cleansing action on the skin, this extract is naturally rich in compounds associated with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. A useful exfoliate that soothes irritated skin as well as relieve inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Orange Peel Oil

The high limonene content of orange peel oil helps diminish free radicals that could harm healthy cells. It also helps inhibit the growth of several bacteria and fungi . When used on the skin, orange oil helps promote clarity, fights inflammation and acne, and keeps our skin feeling fresh.

Natural Peach Flavour

An oil based natural peach flavour. We use a flavouring oil rather than a scent as it is used for our peach lip scrub so that it both tastes and smells delicious and can be safely ingested.

Naturally Derived Emulsifier

A safe and gentle natural material derived from coconuts. It is commonly used in soaps and cleansers and is considered a safe alternative to sulphates offering foaming and emulsifying capabilities.

Phenoxyethanol

Preservative (0.5% HLA Serum Only)

Phenoxyethanol's anti-fungal properties help to prevent product contamination from various microbes. It has the ability to boost the efficacy of other natural preservatives, in turn decreasing the total amount of preservatives needed to preserve a product well. Our formulations contain a very low volume of only 0.5% as a backup for our natural preservatives.

Ethylhexylglycerin

Ethylhexylglycerin is a glycerine based preservative and skin-softening agent. It helps boost the efficacy of other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol. It has been shown to have mild humectant properties leading to improved skin hydration without a sticky feel. Our formulations contain very low amounts in combination with our natural preservatives and extracts.

Glyceryl Stearate Citrate

Natural Emulsifier

Glyceryl stearate citrate is an ester of citric acid and glyceryl stearate. Depending on the formula and how much is used, this ingredient can work as an emollient or emulsifier. The glyceryl stearate citrate that we use is 100% palm free and plant-derived from vegetable oils. It is a PEG-free clean emulsifier.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthomonas Campestris

Xanthan gum is a plant based polysaccharide carbohydrate derived from fermenting sugar. We use Xanthan Gum in our products as a binder, stabilizer and a natural preservative, improving quality and product safety. In addition to practical properties, it has been proven to moisturise skin.

Arachidyl Alcohol & Behenyl Alcohol & Arachidyl Glucoside Composition

Natural Emulsifier

A palm oil-free and PEG-free 100% natural emulsifier, ideal for ultra-light emulsions. It is made from fatty alcohols from rapeseed. A nourishing and sustainable alternative that helps create a light texture, matte finish and long lasting moisturising effect. Free from cethyl alcohol, it is suitable for sensitive skin. Readily biodegradable as well as COSMOS and Natrue approved.

Maltodextrin

Vp Copolymer - Stabiliser

Maltodextrin is a safe and gentle plant-based sugar created by hydrolyzing a saccharide with starch from corn, potato, or rice. It does many things in cosmetic products, including being an absorbent, binding agent, stabiliser, film-forming agent and moisturiser.

Triomethamine

Ketorolac Tromethamine - PH Balancer

Tromethamine is a triol, a type of alcohol that contains three hydroxyl groups which consist of bonded hydrogen and oxygen atoms. It serves as a pH adjusting ingredient in skin care formulations. When used in cosmetic formulas it assists in neutralising more acidic substances due to its alkaline pH creating balance and easing irritation.

Sodium Levulinate

Sodium levulinate is the salt of levulinic acid, a synthetic organic acid that helps condition and soften skin. Sodium levulinate is sometimes part of preservative blend because it exhibits antimicrobial benefits.

Sodium Anisate

Natural Preservative

Sodium anisate is often sought out at as a natural alternative to other cosmetic preservatives, as p-anisic acid is derived from the herbaceous plant pimpinella anisum. It is a sodium salt of the plant metabolite p-anisic acid and it helps to prolong a product’s life and to make sure that mold, fungus and other undesirable organisms don’t multiply within the product.
